Etiology & Risk Factors
- Anatomically narrow angle, pupil dilation.
Clinical Symptoms
- Severe eye pain
- blurred vision
- halos around lights
- nausea.
Clinical Approach
Diagnosis
- High IOP
- mid-dilated fixed pupil
- shallow anterior chamber.
Management
- IV Acetazolamide
- topical beta-blockers/pilocarpine
- Laser iridotomy.
Complications
- Rapid permanent vision loss.
