Etiology & Risk Factors

  • Passage of stones from gallbladder.

Clinical Symptoms

  • RUQ pain
  • jaundice
  • dark urine
  • pale stools.

Clinical Approach

Diagnosis

  • Ultrasound
  • MRCP
  • Elevated Bilirubin/Alk Phos.

Management

  • ERCP (stone removal).

Complications

  • Ascending cholangitis
  • acute pancreatitis.
