- Idiopathic, T-cell dysfunction causing podocyte effacement.
Clinical Symptoms
- Sudden onset severe edema
- massive proteinuria.

Diagnosis
- Electron microscopy shows podocyte foot process effacement.
Management
- Corticosteroids (excellent response).
Complications
- Infections
- thrombosis.
