Etiology & Risk Factors
- Autoimmune, heavily female-predominant.
Clinical Symptoms
- Severe fatigue
- intense pruritus (especially at night)
- jaundice.

Diagnosis
- High Alk Phos
- Anti-mitochondrial antibodies (AMA positive).
Management
- Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA)
- Liver transplant.
Complications
- Liver cirrhosis
- osteopenia.
