Etiology & Risk Factors

  • Autoimmune (anti-GM-CSF antibodies), Congenital.

Clinical Symptoms

  • Progressive exertional dyspnea
  • cough with thick sputum.

Clinical Approach

Diagnosis

  • Chest CT (crazy-paving pattern)
  • BAL (milky fluid).

Management

  • Whole lung lavage.

Complications

  • Respiratory failure
  • infections.
