Dosing & Administration
Adult Dose
1-2 tablets (e.g., 5/325 mg) PO every 4-6 hours PRN pain. Max 4g acetaminophen/day.
Pediatric Dose
Use extreme caution. Codeine/Hydrocodone contraindicated < 12 yrs and post-tonsillectomy < 18 yrs.
Renal Adjustment
Use caution.
Hepatic Adjustment
Reduce dose or avoid in severe impairment due to acetaminophen.
