Dosing & Administration
Adult Dose
875 mg / 125 mg PO every 12 hours.
Pediatric Dose
90 mg/kg/day PO divided every 12 hours.
Renal Adjustment
CrCl 10-30: 250-500 mg every 12 hrs. Do not use 875 mg tablet if CrCl < 30.
Hepatic Adjustment
Use caution. Can cause cholestatic jaundice.

Contraindications
- Penicillin allergy
- History of Augmentin-associated cholestatic jaundice
Common Adverse Effects
- Severe diarrhea (due to clavulanate)
- Hepatotoxicity
- Yeast infections
