PPH: 10-40 units in 1000 mL IV fluid infused rapidly, or 10 units IM.

Pregnancy Category
X (for non-obstetric indications, obviously used during delivery).
Lactation Safety
Compatible (promotes milk let-down).

Contraindications
- Fetal distress
- Cephalopelvic disproportion
- Placenta previa
Common Adverse Effects
- Uterine tachysystole
- Water intoxication (has ADH-like effect)
- Hypotension (if pushed rapidly IV)
