- Severe immunodeficiency
- Anaphylaxis to neomycin/gelatin
Precautions
- Recent administration of antibody-containing blood products
- History of thrombocytopenia

Clinical Information
Effectiveness
97% effective against measles after 2 doses.
Patient Counseling
- A mild rash or fever may appear 7-12 days after vaccination.
- Females should avoid getting pregnant for 1 month after vaccination.
